Position Title:         IT Client Support Analyst  / Desktop Support
Location:         Fort Worth, TX
Duration:        Full time. 
Pay:                   $50k pa with benefits.

Position Summary:
The IT Client Support Analyst’s role is to support and maintain in-house computer systems, mobile devices, and all peripherals. This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all hardware and equipment while ensuring optimal workstation performance. The technician will also troubleshoot problem areas in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end user training and assistance where required.  
Candidate must be able to identify when escalation of incidents to higher level technical support professionals is necessary.  Conducts customer/user satisfaction call-backs and closes all resolved incidents and requests.  Facilitates and carries out communication of service outages (planned and unplanned).  Develops and recommends procedures and controls for incident and problem prevention.  Maintains knowledge database and call tracking database to enhance quality of problem resolutions.  Works in a team setting, sharing information and assisting others with calls. Provide some after hour’s emergency support on a rotating schedule.
Other knowledge that would be helpful to us is to find someone who has some knowledge working with SCCM, SQL Commands, scripting VBS and OSD image creation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Receives and logs all customer interactions for Incidents and Service Requests.
  • Responsible for Tier 2 software and hardware support.
  • Acts as an escalation point for advanced or difficult requests unresolved by Tier 1 support.
  • Maintain high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Creates, changes, and modifies access accounts. 
  • Supports and adheres to all IT Service Management processes.
  • Acts as delegate for the Support IT Client Support Service Manager as needed.
  • Assists management in producing metric reports.
  • Participate as a project team member on approved projects as assigned.
  • Performs other duties as required or assigned.
Educational and Other Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a computer related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of computer hardware, mobile devices.
  • Advanced working knowledge of current Windows Operating System.
  • Advanced working knowledge of current Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Working knowledge of Active Directory / Administrative Tools.
  • Experience with Remote support tools.
  • Experience with Automated Call Distribution (ACD) phone systems.
  • Exceptional communications skills, verbal and written.
  • Must have very good phone etiquette.
  • Strong documentation skills.
  • Must be customer-focused, work well in a team-oriented environment, and provide quality service for the business client. Must pay very close attention to detail.
  • Must be available to support 24/7 environment and participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support.
  • Position will require a minimum of 40 hours per week unless otherwise directed by supervisor.
Certifications
    • CompTIA A+ Certification required
    • Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) preferred
    • HDI Desktop Support Technician Certification preferred
    • ITILv3 Foundations preferred

Job Title:         Business Analyst
Location:         Fort Worth, TX

The Business Analyst is responsible for eliciting, analyzing, specifying and validating the business needs of project stakeholders, be they sponsors, requestors or end-users.  This includes interviewing stakeholders and gathering and compiling user requirements to convey to development and deployment teams throughout the project lifecycle.  This Business Analyst will also apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help support the Project Management process, and to ensure that project deliverables are met according to specifications.. Develops specific expertise in certain business areas (such as manufacturing, operations, finance, etc.) and is recognized as such by the business and IT communities. Works closely with the Relationship Manager to ensure that all business needs are addressed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Works closely with the business sponsors, key stakeholders and the PMO RM(s) to understand the business needs.
  • Gathers and documents detail business requirements.
  • Participates in interview workshops with key project sponsors to clearly define requirements, goals, scope and benefits of the project.
  • Responsible for documenting requirements and defining scope for new projects.
  • Maintains advanced knowledge of business processes.
  • Identifies alternatives and develops scenarios for addressing business needs and requirements.
  • Understands and suggests technology solutions.
  • Collaborates with various businesses and IT personnel to create new solutions and solve existing business problems.
  • Conducts research into products and vendors and works closely with the business to provide appropriate solutions.
  • Documents business processes and participates in the development of procedures and workflows of how a new product or service is to be used.
  • Works very closely with the PMO RM to ensure that all business needs and demands are addressed in a timely fashion.
  • Interfaces with Project Sponsors and stakeholders to extract requirements and clarify goals.
  • Conducts meetings for fact finding and gathering of data necessary for the decision making process.
  • Builds and maintains good relationships with business customers, colleagues, contractors, vendors and consultants.
  • Participates in preparing the user documentation and training manuals. 
Educational and Other Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business/Project Management/Finance or equivalent experience and at least 4-6 years technical background with business and IT systems and applications.
  • Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modeling, verification and methodology development.
  • Experience overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products.
  • Ability to create systematic and consistent requirements specifications in both technical and user-friendly language.
  • Ability to apply statistical and other research methods into systems issues and products as required.
  • Excellent listening, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, including the ability to read and process complex technical information
  • Highly self-motivated and directed.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Excellent analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Wide knowledge of business processes and workflows for various types of businesses.
  • Excellent group and facilitation skills.
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills.

  • 2-3 years working in Oil and Gas industry.

·         Work with our cross functional teams of analysts, developers and graphic designers to translate business objectives into attractive visual concepts and innovative browser-based solutions that are powerful, easy to use and highly customizable.
·         Produce standards-compliant client side code and components for projects with HTML, CSS, JavaScript (and Flash or other relevant client side technologies)

·         Experience with social networking APIs and design trends, such as integrating the Facebook Connect or OpenSocial APIs, is highly desirable.
·         Knowledge of web widget and syndication platforms such as widgetbox, beebo, gigya, google gadgets, etc. Experience designing and integrating such widgets is desirable.
·         Experience with web performance concepts including Javascript compression, caching strategies, CDN usage and browser tweaks is also desirable.

Your Articles with GIST?

What is Gist?
Gist are repositories of github.
These can be created as Public or Private repositories.
This is the best way to make your snippet safe and available to all the world through a common url.

What is GitHub?


In April-2008, GitHub was launched. GitHub is nothing but Web Based Hosting Service, which provides you to create your own repositories of softwares etc.
GitHub is offering both Free and Paid accounts for 'Open Sources' projects In 2010 it named as 'GitHub Inc.'

GitHub which is running on the software has written in 'Ruby On Rails' To start with GitHub repositories you just need to install GitHub software :
  • Git for Windows
  • Git for Windows7
  • Git for Linux
  • Git for Mac

  • Choose your flavor and start with Git. I will discuss in detail regarding GitHub in another post.

    What should I do to create Gist?
    Its as simple as you have created your own account in hyderabadtechies.info, following are the steps which are describing the answer:

  • Surf GitHub
  • Create you GitHub account
  • Supply your profile summary
    Now, you have ground to create Gist.

    How to create and Share Gist?

    As GitHub officialy defined Gist is : a simple way to share snippets and pastes with others. All gists are git repositories, so they are automatically versioned, forkable and usable as a git repository.
    Followings are the steps to create your own Gist:

  • Login to GitHub
  • Reach at : Gist
  • Here you can provide the two mandatory things :
    - Gist Description
    - Gist file name and optionally you can Select Language else language will be detected from file name extension
    eg. if you choose - myfile.cs - it will be considered as C# language Gist and so on...
  • You can write in the editor of Gist or can copy/paste your existing snippet
  • Now create Private or Public Gist by pressing specific button.
  • You can Add more files by clicking 'Add another file' link
    When you have done with creating you will be directed to Gist url link. By the same you can share your Gist through-out the world.
  • later on you can see your all Gits from My Gist
    Live Example:
  • Follow the above mentioned steps and reach to your Gist home.
    In the following Gist, I tried to show a simple snippet "How to use Library from Console?"
    There are certain options by which you can compile files with different types like class library .dll or executable files .exe etc.
  • /t :exe - Produces a Console Application, which is the default option
  • /t :library - Produces a Class Library with its Manifest
  • /t :module - Produces a component but without manifest
  • /t :winexe - Produces a Windows application [not a console window]
    The above list is very limited to the scope of this article.
    With the help of switch option(s) you can do this. /t :library will generate the class library with its manifest and this will call at runtime. With the use of /r switch you can call the other class library file to any console application.

    Recruiting today: Sources of information search and aggregation

    The modern recruiting involves work with a lot of diverse information. Earlier in the recruiter's arsenal was only a few sources to search for potential candidates, but now the number of these "hunting grounds" is constantly growing and in the first place there is the question of how to choose the most effective resources in terms of Return on Interest (under the investment is first and foremost mean time by ensuring that search). Here are just a small part of the sources of information that can be used today to search for candidates: LinkedIn, Google +, Branchout, Facebook, Twitter, GitHub, specialized portals, forums and communities (Scguild and etc.)

    If some of the tools are easy enough in terms of search and analytics, while others are limited in this respect, and to require full use of various "tricks", such as X-Ray Search or Custom Search Engines, which in turn translates into more time-consuming.Whatever it was, now it becomes clear that to cover all possible resources is problematic, and there are recruiters come to the rescue services for aggregating information. The problem (in terms of recruiting), both of these resources is that they collect only basic information - only your immediate contacts and do not provide comprehensive search capabilities. More interesting in this respect is service thesocialcv , which I learnt recently. The main idea - Thesocialcv a system that automatically brings together different social profiles of potential candidates, and allows you to search across a subset of them. Here you can see a short movie about how the service works. According to the founders of the resource, to date they have processed more than 100 million different social profiles. Here's what a search form:
