We currently
have an exciting opportunity for an experienced SQL, ASP.NET, C# Web Developer with a strong knowledge of
current technologies and trends.
Qualified candidates must thrive in a deadline-driven environment, have
a positive team attitude and should be able to hit the ground running. The candidate must also be able to work with
stakeholders to understand, gather, document requirements, create innovative
ways to display and analyze data, and develop technical solutions to satisfy
the end-users’ needs for health and education applications.
Required
Skills:
- Must Haves: XHTML, CSS, JQuery, Web Design & Layout, Color Schema Knowledge.
- Experience with applications developed in .NET framework, .ASP, HTML, VB Script, and
- Strong knowledge of latest Internet Technologies and Software Development Life Cycle
- Experience with Visual Studio 2008, JavaScript, SQL database (2000, 2005, & 2008), AJAX, ASP.Net, C#, Flash, Web Services, IIS, VSS, and MS Expressions
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Tools including Share Point and Visio
- Experience with DHTML, Team Foundation Server, and MS Project a plus
- Strong Graphic Design and Form Design (UX) skills.
- Must have functional knowledge and strong ASP.net coding experience.
Responsibilities:
- Develop new and current architecture for application web sites developed in .NET, ASP, Java script, and HTML; concentrating mainly on the front end but some back end may also be required
- Work with stakeholders, graphics designer, and developers to create and maintain web design that effectively promotes the best user experience for our customers.
- Develop software code according to acceptable programming practices and with the objective of achieving maximum exposure via internet search engines
- Collaborate with Developers and Information Technology on Web Hosting and Security
- Test, troubleshoot, and debug code
- Create and document UI specification requirements for product development life cycle
- Document User Guides and Manuals for products
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5+ years of hand on experience with web development
- Superior knowledge of industry best practices for web development and applications
- Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws along with government agencies usability standards for web applications
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related technical field
- Thorough knowledge of CMMI Level 2-3 practices
- Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
- Strong interviewing and listening skills, with the ability to translate requirements gathered in a technical format
- Proficient project management skills, the ability to manage several tasks simultaneously, and report project status
- Be flexible, and perform tasks as needed to support project teams
- Microsoft Manual of Style for Technical Publications, or a comparable standard a plus
